This game was originally going to have some form of bow hunting.There are also chimpanzees that appear in attract videos (the ones that tell you how many credits are in) but they don't appear anywhere in the game outside of the Monkey Drop Bonus.This may have been a planned tournament edition animal but it was possibly scrapped for unknown reasons. Every animal shown on the cabinet appears in the game except for this one. On the cabinet side art of the standard version, there is a Leopard on a tree branch holding what appears to be a dead Impala. It's possible that there were plans to include an extra animal for online games.It's also possible that they would have had to pay Ken Burroughs to do additional lines for this animal, even though he would later do the lines for Ibex Adventure in Safari Outback. The reason for this is unknown, however it's possible that adding it would have required re-animating parts of the intro video to accommodate it, and since it was more complex than the intro video for Pro, it would not have made sense to spend resources to do it. Unlike Big Buck Hunter Pro, this game did not get a new animal when it came time for tournaments.Similarly, African music plays throughout the game instead of the guitar music.Yenner Watani is also credited in the credits attract video. Ken Burroughs narrates the entire game with a thick African accent. This is the first game to not be narrated with a Southern accent.
